Notes on acceptance and other terms and conditions
We want North West Sustainable Business Quarterly to be open to people from all across the sustainability industry – SMEs, corporates, consultants, public sector, advisers, thought leaders.
However, we reserve the right to reject applications to attend the event, based on the following:
We aim to maintain a good balance of different sectors and types of attendee. For example, we don’t want this to become a gathering of sustainability consultants. By keeping a good mix of roles, we believe this facilitates discussion, brings together different perspectives and ideas, and generally makes NWSBQ the success it is.
We prohibit selling at NWSBQ. It is a gathering of like-minded people and a forum for discussion and networking. If we hear reports of anyone attempting to sell, any future requests to attend the event will be rejected.
We operate a ‘three strikes and you’re out’ rule in relation to attendance. So, if you sign up but then realise you can’t attend, please let us know as soon as you can. We do understand that people have genuine reasons for being unable to attend, but we will reject future requests for those who fail to let us know beforehand. Thanks.
Chatham house rule applies to round table discussions: “participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s), nor that of any other participant, may be revealed”.

By providing your email address, we will keep you informed of future events and add you to the Anthesis mailing list. We try not to send too much and every message includes an unsubscribe option. We won’t share your email address with any third parties.
If we need to cancel an event for any reason, we will endeavour to give as much notice as possible, but cannot be responsible for any expenses incurred etc. as a result.
Anthesis don’t run NWSBQ as a money-making venture but because we feel there is a need for this kind of event in the North West. As such, we fit its organisation around our other business commitments and sometimes it isn’t at the top of our list. All speakers, venues, roundtable hosts, etc, work on the same basis. If you are waiting for a response from one of us on something, please bear with us – we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
